ASP Ship Management Group operates an office in Odessa, Ukraine, as part of a wider international network providing ship and crew management services. The group traces its origins to 1964, when McIlwraith McEacharn and the Adelaide Steamship Company merged to form Associated Steamships, later becoming ASP Ships Group after a series of ownership changes and a management buyout. The company offers technical ship management, crew sourcing and training, marine and technical consultancy, and commercial and logistics support for a range of vessel types, including tankers, bulk carriers, container ships, car carriers and offshore units. Regional offices, including Ukraine, support manning and crew administration for the group's global fleet. Headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, with additional offices across Asia, Europe and the Americas, ASP Ships Group supports shipowners with technical, safety and compliance services alongside newbuilding supervision and dry-docking coordination from its various regional locations, including Odessa.
