Nordic American Tankers Limited (NAT) is a shipping company incorporated in Bermuda in 1995, listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It operates a fleet consisting exclusively of Suezmax crude oil tankers, built up through newbuildings and acquisitions since the company became an active operator in 2004. NAT has its origins linked to the Hansson family and maintains administrative ties to Sandefjord, Norway, alongside its Bermuda incorporation.
