Westfal-Larsen Management AS is part of the Westfal-Larsen group, a family-owned maritime transportation business headquartered in Bergen, Norway, tracing its origins to 1905. The group's main activities include chemical tanker transportation and specialised open-hatch dry bulk shipping. Westfal-Larsen Management AS acts as technical manager for the group's chemical tanker fleet, operated by Westfal-Larsen & Co. AS and Welco Eco Ship AS, and shares technical management responsibility for a fleet of open-hatch dry cargo carriers owned by Masterbulk AS, which trade within the Saga Welco pool. Some of these vessels' technical management is handled from Bergen, while others are subcontracted to an external manager in Singapore. Commercial management of the chemical tanker fleet is carried out by a related company, Westchart AS, while group administrative functions such as accounting and general management are centralised through Westfal-Larsen Group Resources AS, also based in Bergen.
