公司信息

Based in Gdańsk at Stary Dwór 9, this company explores for and produces crude oil and natural gas on the Polish shelf of the Baltic Sea. Founded in 1990, it is the only Polish firm carrying out hydrocarbon extraction offshore in national waters, holding concession areas covering roughly 3,177 square kilometres in the eastern Baltic.

Production comes mainly from the B3 and B8 fields, supported by a fleet of drilling and production platforms, multipurpose tugs, guard and rescue vessels, a tanker and a shore base with a loading quay. Crew changes to the offshore platforms are carried out by helicopter flights departing from Gdańsk airport.

The company operated for many years under the LOTOS Group before LOTOS merged into the ORLEN Group in 2022. In December 2024 it formally changed its name from LOTOS Petrobaltic to ORLEN Petrobaltic, continuing the same upstream and offshore logistics activities under the new brand.
