公司信息

Murakami Hide Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. is a shipyard based on Hakata Island in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, Japan. The company traces its origins to a wooden shipbuilding workshop founded in 1917 and was incorporated under its current name in 1963.

The yard builds a range of vessels including chemical tankers, oil tankers, LPG carriers, bulk carriers and other dry cargo ships, and also carries out ship repair work using its slipway and dry dock facilities. Alongside newbuilding and repair, the company operates a ship rental business and acts as an agent for marine damage insurance.

Murakami Hide Shipbuilding holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and is affiliated with Kanasashi Heavy Industries. It employs several hundred staff, including subcontracted workers, and continues to supply vessels to owners and operators both in Japan and overseas.
