Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA) is the state-owned oil and gas company of Venezuela, headquartered in Caracas at Avenida Libertador, La Campiña, matching the Torre Oeste address on record. The company was established in 1976 following the nationalization of Venezuela's oil industry and has since overseen the country's hydrocarbons sector.

Through its subsidiaries, PDVSA plans, coordinates and controls exploration, production, refining, transportation, storage and marketing of crude oil and related products, both domestically and internationally. Its activities also extend to natural gas, petrochemicals and coal, with refineries and affiliated operations located across Venezuela as well as in the Caribbean, the Americas and Europe.

As Venezuela's principal oil exporter, PDVSA supplies products to the domestic market and for export, including fuels and petroleum-derived products marketed under its own brands. The company remains the dominant player in the national petroleum industry, with its registered office located in the La Campiña district of Caracas.
