Carisbrooke Shipping Limited is a privately owned shipping company based in Cowes, Isle of Wight, United Kingdom, with an additional office in Rotterdam. Founded in 1969, the company began as a small operator trading barges and coasters supplying general cargo to the Isle of Wight before expanding into international trading. Today the company operates a fleet of general cargo and multi-purpose vessels ranging from 5,000 to 15,000 DWT, trading across European, Atlantic and worldwide routes. It has a long history of commissioning newbuild tonnage at shipyards around the world, with vessels currently on order for delivery between 2026 and 2028. Services offered include technical management, vessel inspections, new build management, cadet training, crew management and fleet optimisation. The company also runs a cadet training programme to develop seafarers from deck cadet through to senior management levels.
