Songa Shipmanagement Ltd is a ship management company based in Paisley, Scotland, providing technical and operational management for merchant vessels. The company traces its origins to the technical management branch of Blystad Shipping, established in Houston in 1995, which later relocated to Glasgow and was reorganised as Songa Shipmanagement in 2006. Services include technical supervision, procurement and maintenance, commercial operations, fiscal management, insurance handling, and consulting for newbuilding, conversion and pre-purchase inspections. Crew manning is handled through its affiliated company, Songa Crewmanagement Ltd, established in 2016. The company employs around 50 shore-based staff and over 1,200 seafarers across its managed fleet as of 2025. It holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification and operates vessels flagged under Marshall Islands, Malta, Liberia, Portugal and Norway.
