Transpetrol is an independent, fully integrated shipowning company engaged in the transportation of oil, refined petroleum products, liquefied petroleum gas and vegetable oils. The company operates a fleet of modern tankers ranging from 45,000 to 110,000 dwt as well as VLGCs, built at leading shipyards in Korea and Japan. The company's shore organisation is split between two offices: Asker, near Oslo, which houses its ship management operations including technical management, newbuilding projects and HSEQ, and Brussels, Belgium, which handles chartering, operations, accounting and finance. Transpetrol employs around 25 shore staff and a pool of roughly 500 seafarers. With a history spanning nearly 50 years, Transpetrol serves oil, gas and trading companies globally, supported by long-standing relationships with suppliers, banks and other business partners in the maritime industry.
