KSS Line Ltd. is a South Korean marine transportation company headquartered on Insadong-gil in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Originally established in 1969 as Korea Chemical Carriers, Ltd., the company adopted its current name in 1999 after decades of growth in gas and chemical shipping. The company operates a fleet of very large gas carriers (VLGCs), medium gas carriers, and chemical tankers, transporting LPG, ammonia, and a range of petrochemical products such as butadiene, ethylene, propane, and vinyl chloride monomer worldwide. It also holds equity stakes in LNG carriers operated in partnership with Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS). KSS Line serves major energy and chemical trading clients and continues to expand its fleet through newbuilding orders for dual-fuel LPG carriers, including vessels on order from HD Hyundai Heavy Industries for delivery later this decade. The company is listed on the Korean stock exchange and operates both domestically and internationally.
