Medcare Shipping S.A. is a ship management company based in Glyfada, Athens, Greece, operating tanker and bulk carrier vessels. Founded in 1997 and registered in Greece under law 89/1967, the company began managing its first five ships in 1998 and has since grown its fleet with handysize and MR1 product/chemical tankers as well as bulk carriers. The company provides commercial, operational, technical and crewing management services in-house from its Athens headquarters, together with marine safety, quality and environmental oversight for its fleet. Its vessels carry refined petroleum products, crude oil and IMO II/III chemical cargoes, with newbuild eco-design tankers on order for delivery after 2026. Medcare Shipping is a board member of Intertanko, a member of ITOPF and Helmepa, and its vessels have received Qualship 21 recognition from the US Coast Guard.
