PT Lentera Segara Indonesia was established in Jakarta. The first project was the construction of a fiber boat as a subcontractor in 2015 2016, when it was still an individual business. Then in 2017, it developed into a contractor for shipbuilding, particularly for the government and state owned enterprises (BUMN), focusing on Fiber and Aluminum boats. In 2019, it supervised the construction of KAL 28. In 2021, it expanded to become a subcontractor for the construction of Barges and Tugboats at PT Patria Maritim Perkasa, Batam. Up to now, PT Lentera Segara Indonesia has developed and focuses on being a consultant for ship construction, design & planning, as well as supervision in ship construction and repair.
