ASP Ship Management Proprietary Limited is the Scandinavian office of ASP Ships Group, based in Mariehamn, Åland, Finland. The group traces its origins to 1964, when McIlwraith McEacharn and Adelaide Steamship Company merged in Australia to form Associated Steamships Pty Ltd, later restructured into ASP Ship Management Group with headquarters in Melbourne. The group provides ship management, crew management, and marine and technical services to owners of tankers, bulk carriers, container ships, car carriers, ferries, Ro-Ro vessels, offshore units and navy vessels. Services include technical management, newbuilding supervision, dry-docking, retrofitting and marine consultancy. In addition to its Scandinavian base, ASP Ships Group operates offices across Singapore, India, the Philippines, Ukraine, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Germany, Croatia and New Zealand, supporting crew sourcing and technical operations for shipowners internationally.
