Bridgeport, Connecticut is the ideal location for Hornblower Marine because of its convenient central location and direct access to deep water on Long Island Sound. The yard has a fully enclosed production shed that is 90 feet wide, 290 feet long, and 80 feet high. This shed is large enough to house numerous vessels simultaneously in an atmosphere that is temperature controlled. The largest Travelift in the shipyard has the capacity to move ships that are up to 700 tons and have a beam of up to 58 feet.
