Tolani Shipping Company Limited is a ship owner and operator headquartered at Bakhtawar, Nariman Point, Mumbai. Incorporated in 1974, the company has built a long track record in the dry bulk segment, operating Handymax, Panamax and Kamsarmax vessels that carry commodities such as coal, ores, cement, fertiliser and grain worldwide. In 2023 the company expanded into the oil and chemical tanker sector, adding stainless steel oil-cum-chemical tankers to its fleet alongside its bulk carriers. Its combined fleet currently totals around eight to nine vessels, mostly Japanese and South Korean built. Beyond vessel ownership, Tolani Shipping offers ship management services covering technical and personnel management, as well as support for ship acquisitions, repairs, dry-docking and new-building projects. The company also maintains an affiliate, Tolani Shipping (Singapore) Pte Ltd, extending its operations beyond India.
