Company Info

B.V. Oil Company, Incorporated was a Doral/Miami, Florida based distributor of fuel and lubricants, founded in 1983 by Cosme Varas, building on a family history in the petroleum business dating back to 1947. Operating from a bulk plant on NW 58th Street in Doral, the company supplied Amalie and Prestone lubricant lines along with bulk fuel to customers throughout Southeast Florida and exported products to numerous countries.

The company later expanded through the acquisition of Grimsley Oil Co. in Arcadia, Florida, before divesting its western Florida operations to Rogers Petroleum, Inc. so it could focus on its core South Florida market.

BV Oil Company has since rebranded as Orion Oil, continuing to operate from the same Doral address and phone number. Orion Oil now provides wholesale fuel distribution, fleet fueling, and bulk lubricant delivery to retail, industrial, and governmental customers across South Florida.
