Towage/Towing services provided by Gateway Towing. Gateway Terminal is a well-established deep-water marine terminal operator that manages a wide range of dry and liquid bulk and break bulk cargoes. Established in 1985, Gateway Terminal is located on eight acres in the New Haven Harbor region with more than 50 acres of storage space. It is the sole independent and privately owned marine terminal in Connecticut. Gateway Towing possesses and manages a fleet of fifteen (15) tugs and barges. Our fleet of barges, ranging from 1,000 tons to 11,400 tons in capacity, allows Gateway to efficiently transport cargoes to various ports spanning from Maine to Texas to Puerto Rico.
