Raj Shipping Agencies Ltd is a Mumbai-based marine services company founded in 1980 by Adi Mehta. It started out supplying lubricating oils to ships from a single wooden craft. The family-owned business now has three main areas of work. Its bunkering division delivers MARPOL-compliant marine fuels and lubricants using self-propelled bunker barges. Its lighterage division runs class-approved barges that carry liquid cargoes such as chemicals, lube oils and edible oils, vetted under the OCIMF SIRE program. Its offshore division operates offshore supply vessels that provide marine logistics, towing and subsea support to ONGC and international offshore EPC contractors. The company names major Indian oil companies and offshore contractors among its clients.
