Ultrapetrol S.A. is an Argentine marine transport company based in Buenos Aires, originally incorporated in 1992 by members of the Menendez family. It later became the Argentine operating arm of a group formed in 1997 that combined the company with other marine transport interests.

The company has operated across three segments – River Business, Offshore Supply Business and Ocean Business – carrying grains, oilseeds, minerals, petroleum and petroleum derivatives for clients in Argentina and the wider South American market.

Ultrapetrol has also been involved in port infrastructure, including a proposal to repair and modernize grain-handling facilities at the Port of Barranqueras in Chaco province. Its offices are located on Avenida Leandro N. Alem in downtown Buenos Aires.
