Folkestone Harbour was constructed in stages between the 1840s and the early 1900s around the old fishing port of Folkestone. Throughout the years, passenger and freight ferries as well as cargo ships operated from the port to various destinations, with the most well-known link being that between Folkestone and Boulogne.
